Product Description

Camerons Products is your best smoking products resource. This combination set of 4 alder and 4 cedar grilling planks provide a mild (alder) and stronger (cedar) Smokey flavor to seafood, meat, chicken and vegetables. Grilling planks allow food to roast slowly on your charcoal or gas grill as they baste in their own juices creating a subtle, Smokey flavor. No fat or oil needs to be added as the moisture from the plank keeps food juicy and flavorful. Includes full instructions and recipes. The planks can be used two or three times before discarding, but they must be submerged in water for at least 30 minutes prior to use. Each alder plank measures 6-inch by 13-inch by 3/8-inch, cedar measures 7-inch by 13-inch by 3/8-inch.

Grilling Plank Instructions:

Submerge the plank in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat your barbecue to a medium high heat (approximately 400-425 degrees). Place the soaked plank onto the grill and close the lid for a few minutes until the plank begins to smoke. Then place the food on the plank, reclose the lid and follow the temperature guide inside the packaging. If a flame should occur, douse with water as needed or keep a spray bottle handy.

Use the plank to serve your meal by placing it on a board or platter. It will be extremely hot! Use tongs, gloves or oven mitts to remove from heat. Cleanup is easy with warm soapy water. Wash and let sit to dry. Store in a paper bag. Good for up to two or three uses. To dispose of used plank: crumble onto charcoals for additional flavor for future barbecues or discard appropriately.
